The Bank of Greece (BoG) on Wednesday announced that the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of 9.378 billion euros over the January-April 2021 period, compared to a deficit of 6.014 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2020.

Ordinary budget expenditures were reported as reaching 22.176 billion euros, significantly up from 18.139 billion euros in January-April 2020.
