Uber registers spectacular increase in tourist traffic this summer in Greece
What do application usage data show for Greece compared to the last year before the pandemic

The picture presented by the tourist wave this summer was excellent, as reflected in the data on the use of the Uber application in Greece, which show a significant increase compared to 2019, the last year before the pandemic.
According to the data concerning the months of May – October 2022 compared to the corresponding period of 2019, it is recorded:
• increase in total tourist trips by 180%
• increase in routes to and from the airport “El. Venizelos” of Athens by 205%
• increase in tourists using the app from the US by 280%, from the UK by 270% and from France by 320%
• increase of tourist routes within the city limits of Athens by 250%
