The Municipality of Athens and the Athens Culture Net of the municipality support the bilingual campaign (Greek and English) of the company Interbus SA entitled “Art on the road, let us visit the museums”, through which the cultural treasures hosted in the museums of the capital are highlighted .
In particular, the backs of 30 city buses that cross the main thoroughfares of the basin, carrying thousands of passengers daily, were turned into canvases of unique archeological finds and exquisite works of art, urging citizens to visit museums.
“The need to support and promote the culture that suffered so much because of the pandemic was immediate. This campaign is another link in the solidarity chain to support culture and artists. It was created with the aim of encouraging the citizens and the visitors of the city to visit the museums of Athens again “, it is underlined in a relevant announcement of the municipality.
