Producer prices in Industry leap by 39.9%
What the data show
The General Index of Producer Prices in Industry showed a 39.9% increase in June compared to the corresponding index of June 2021, against a 12.6% increase noted during the corresponding comparison of the indices of the year 2021 with 2020, according to the data of the Hellenic Statistical Authority-ELSTAT.
The General Index during the month of June 2022, compared to the index of May 2022, showed a decrease of 0.6% against an increase of 1.5% noted during the corresponding comparison of the 2021 indices.
At the same time, the average General Index of the twelve months July 2021 – June 2022, compared to the average General Index of the twelve months July 2020 – June 2021, showed an increase of 31.0% against a decrease of 0.7% noted during the corresponding comparison of the previous twelve months .
