Mantzios – “Incredible things happened”
Furious Aris coach after what happened in their AEK fixture
It was pure anger that Aris coach Akis Matzios expressed as a result of what happened in their AEK fixture; the Greek coach pinpointed the following in his flash interview.
“Some incredible things happened since the beginning, inside and outside the pitch area. Incredible mistakes, not on our side”, said the Thessaloniki outfit coach pointing the finger at referee Diamantopoulos.
Below follow words of Akis Matzios, in details:
“I think it is not about what happened in the end. We have to take the match from the beginning. Some incredible things happened since the beginning, inside and outside the pitch area. Our side should have won, we had the best goal-scoring chances in the match.
Incredible mistakes, not on our side. Despite the fact we were trailing behind 2-0, we managed to cut the deficit and create chances to score more; but incredible things happened today”.
