An order for the preventive evacuation of homes and businesses located near the front of the fire in the area of Profitis Ilias, in Patras, was given by the Fire Brigade.
According to information, residents and employees will be transported to the outdoor car park of the “Tofalos” indoor stadium , while the aerial firefighting forces has started throwing water over the fire front.

It should be noted that on the other fire fronts of Achaia, where the firefighters have been fighting since yesterday, the situation is better, although the battle of the Fire Brigade continues.
