The Judicial Council of Athens unanimously decided that the charges against Mr Marinakis for participation in criminal organization, committing fraud, extortion and causing explosion have been dropped.

The Judicial Council of Athens unanimously decided that the charges against Mr Marinakis for participation in criminal organization, committing fraud, extortion and causing explosion have been dropped.
The Judicial Council of Athens decided (with two votes in favor and one vote against) that a charge of match fixing against 28 individuals (amongst them Mr Marinakis) will be referred to first Court and the first hearing is expected not earlier than the end of 2018. It should be noted that the Chairman of the Council had the opinion that Mr Marinakis should not be referred to a trial in relation to this charge.
