Σε ρυθμούς Όσκαρ μπήκαμε και επίσημα, καθώς το μεσημέρι της Πέμπτης ανακοινώθηκαν οιτ ταινίες, οι ηθοποιοί και οι δημιουργοί που θα διεκδικήσουν τουλάχιστον ένα χρυσό αγαλματάκι το βράδυ της 16ης Μαρτίου στο Dolby Theatre του Λος Άντζελες.

Η Bugonia του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου είναι υποψήφια για τέσσερα Όσκαρ – Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Α’ Γυναικείου ρόλου, Διασκευασμένου Σεναρίου και Μουσικής.

Η ταινία που ξεχώρισε είναι το Sinners με 16 υποψηφιότες, ανάμεσά τους Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Σκηνοθεσίας, Α’ και Β’ Ανδρικού ρόλου, Α’΄Γυναικείου ρόλου και αρκετά ακόμα.
