INTUBATED PATIENTS

There were 370 hospital admissions of COVID-19 patients in the last 24 hours (a daily rise of 25.42 percent), while for the last seven days average daily number of admission was 333 patients.

There has been a 28 percent drop in COVID hospital admissions (258) in the last 24 hours, and for the last week the average number of daily admissions is 335 patients.

The median age of the 708 intubated patients (61 percent men) is 64-years-old, and 80 percent of them have an underlying medical condition and/or are age 70 or older.

The total number of confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic is 984,301 (a 0.6 percent increase in the last 24 hours, 50.5 percent men).

There were 405 hospital admissions of COVID-19 cases (a daily rise of 6.58 percent) in the last 24 hours. The average daily number of admission for the last seven days was 436 patients.

There are currently 714 patients intubated in hospital ICUs (60.8 percent men), with a median age of 64-years-old. Of intubated patients, 80 percent are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated, while 20 percent are fully vaccinated.

The number of intubated patients rose to 690, with a median age of 64-years-old. Of these, 80 percent have an underlying medical condition and/or are age 70 or older.

The total number of deaths from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic is 17,779 patients, 95.4 percent of whom had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older.

With the 78 deaths in the last 24 hours, 17,693 people have died of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, and 95 percent of them had an underlying medical condition and/or were age 70 or older.

The COVID-19 death toll since the start of the pandemic is 17,612 patients, of whom 95.4 percent had an underlying medical condition and/or were 70-years-old or older.

With the 91 deaths (95 percent with an underlying medical condition and/or age 70 or older) in the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 death toll in Greece is 17, 517 patients.

With hospitals in various regions of the country at the verge of collapse, the epidemiological map of much of Greece is in deep red and the number of deaths, intubatations, and new infections is rapidly rising.

The updated ECDC map released today based on epidemiological data of the past 14 days – factoring in the risk-level, the positivity rate, and the frequency of testing – shows that many regions of northern Greece (including Thessaloniki), as well as Thessaly and Thrace are in the “deep red” zone.

In the last 24 hours, 49 COVID-19 patients have died, bringing to 16,109 the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. Slightly over 95 percent of these patients had an underlying medical conditions and/or were age 70 or older.

Hospital ICU’s in Thessaloniki and Thessaly are filled to capacity.. About 85 percent of intubated patients are unvaccinated or have received just one jab of a two-dose vax, while 15 percent are fully vaccinated. Of intubated patients, 80 percent have a prior, underlying medical condition and/or are age 70 or over.

The number of intubated patients in ICUs (61.3 percent men) is 380, of whom 327 (86 percent) are unvaccinated or have had only one jab of a two-dose vax, and only 53 (14 percent) are fully vaccinated.

There are 354 COVID-19 patients that are intubated (61 percent men) with a median age of 66-years-old. Of these patients 314 (88.7 percent) are unvaccinated and 40 (11.3 percent) have gotten only one jab of a two-dose vax.

There have been 3,164 newly confirmed cases in the last 24 hours (15 at points of entry into the country) and 43 deaths, bringing the death toll since the beginning of the epidemic in Greece to 15, 418.

There are 381 cases of intubated COVID-19 cases with a median age of 64. Of these patients, 90 percent are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated (with one dose) and about 10 percent are fully vaccinated.
