The Parliamentary Committee tasked with investigating the causes that resulted in the memoranda and bailouts has summoned its first witnesses to testify.

The list of witnesses who have been summoned on Tuesday includes:

  • The President of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOVE) Takis Athanasopoulos
  • A representative from the Institute of Labor of the general worker confederation (GSEE)
  • The head of the State Budget Office in Parliament Panagiotis Liargovas
  • The President of National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce (ESEE) Vasilis Korkidis and
  • The President of the Economic Chamber of Greece Konstantinos Kollias

The next session of the Parliamentary Committee will be on Thursday.
