The amazing “birth” of Santorini (video)
An impressive video showing how the island of Santorini emerged in the Aegean Sea and came to be has been making the rounds on the Internet. The video was composed by Nikos Korakakis, based on scientific research.
The video shows how the picturesque Cycladic Island emerged after a series of major eruptions and earthquakes caused by four different volcanoes.
