During the talks of the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with the Vice President of the European Commission in charge of Competition and Digital Policy, Margaret Vestager, discussions were held on the major infrastructure projects of the country, which are to be approved by the Commission.
The issue of the Patras-Pyrgos highway, as well as the freight center in Thriasio Pedio, which aims to be developed into an international logistics park, were on the table. Issues related to the Recovery Fund and the functioning of the energy market were also discussed.
In the context of these discussions, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Costas Karamanlis, was also present at the Maximos Mansion. Karamanlis, presented the project of major public works against the background of the national plan for the Recovery Fund.
