Olympiacos thumps Fenerbahçe 3-0 in a Europe League away match
Olympiacos picked up its second straight win, as it beat Antwerp 2-1 at home in the inaugural match of Group D.
Olympiacos FC thoroughly dominated Fenerbahçe on its own pitch in Istanbul on Thursday evening, scoring three goals for a 0-3 showing in Europa League Group D play.
Francisco Soares opened the score in the sixth minute, while Giorgos Masouras added another two goals in 62nd and 68th minutes for a convincing victory.
Masouras, the match’s MVP, almost came away with a “hat trick”, as the Turkish club’s keeper deflected a one-on-one shot with his foot.
