'Compulsory [vaccination] is the last resort in the effort to achieve vaccine coverage. The government took this bold and responsible decision and there is a timetable,' said government spokesman Yannis Economou.
“I think it is understandable and appropriate to lead this discussion now -- how we can encourage and potentially think about mandatory vaccination within the European Union,” she said.
