Pandemic debts – Extension until January 26 for submitting the applications for the repayment plan of 36-72 installments

The deadline normally expires on December 31, 2021, but, by decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance, Apostolos Vesyropoulos, it is extended by 26 days

The deadline for submitting applications for inclusion in the pandemic debt repayment plan is extended until January 26, 2022, in 36 interest-free installments or 72 installments, with an interest rate of 2.5%. The deadline normally expires on December 31, 2021, but, by decision of the Deputy Minister of Finance, Apostolos Vesyropoulos, it is extended by 26 days, thus giving more time to companies and professionals affected by the health crisis to submit their applications.

The aforementioned plan concerns more than 820,000 debtors who can choose to repay their pandemic debts in up to 36 interest-free monthly installments or 72 installments, with a 2.5% interest rate. The minimum monthly adjustment amount may not be less than 30 euros for debts, including interests and surcharges, up to 1,000 euros or less than 50 euros, or for debts, including interest and surcharges, over 1,000 euros. In case of late payment of the installments, a monthly increase of 5% is required.
