Issued warnings of unwarranted price hikes for a handful of food-and-beverage sectors in the country
Greece’s competition committee, an independent watchdog authority, on Tuesday issued warnings of unwarranted price hikes for a handful of food-and-beverage sectors in the country, namely, in the greater Athens area, the central city of Larissa and to bakeries in the Patras area.
The competition committee cited the traditional restaurant sector in greater Athens, and said letters have been issued to associations, in order to warn members over anti-competition practices.
