That was a crucial period for the greek shipment – and not only for that. It was the time of «unstable stability» which laid to an attempt of phenomenal extent and violence in order to widely rearrange the Globe. By default, greek shipment finds itself on the verge of adverse, worldwide incidents and -more specifically- the major economic crisis, such as the German bankruptcy in 1924 and the USA bankruptcy in 1929. However, the accumulated knowledge and the registered virtues of the long term greek shipment DNA, helped it to limit as much as possible the damage of global Depression and to sustain its power.
At the same time the unique place that Greece has on the global map, which -during history- has always been and still is source of strength as well as cause of many problems, becomes more important. This eternal dipole is expressed clearer than ever during Middle – War, the period between two world wars during which greek shipment suffered severely and offered valuable service to the fight for freedom. On the beginning of this troubled, harsh period and by the end of it. Greece experience its most concentrated times; victories and glory, defeats and, bottom line, the most difficult times to come, those of the triple Occupation. However, the country such as the rest of the free world had not said their last word…
