Μια ομάδα νέων έφερε και στην Ελλάδα την διεθνή εθελοντική πρωτοβουλία Refugees Welcome που ξεκίνησε στο Βερολίνο το 2014 και στοχεύει στη διαμόρφωση ενός διαφορετικού πλαισίου υποδοχής και υποστήριξης των προσφύγων. Η ομάδα αυτή αποφάσισε να μην μείνει μόνο στη συλλογή τροφίμων, φαρμάκων και ρούχων στους πρόσφυγες αλλά να... μυήσει τους Έλληνες στην ιδέα της συγκατοίκησης με έναν πρόσφυγα.
