Collective Bargaining Contracts

The government is entering the talks with trade unions having pledged bebefore to support wage hikes in 2020 that are double the country’s growth rate.

For those under the age of 25 there was a sub-minum wage of 510 euros a month which was abolished today by the cabinet.

Any increase of the minimum wage will be essentially symbolic in nature, rather than a true return of the minimum wage to decent levels
