A light 4.1 on the Richter scale earthquake shook the western port city of Patras on Friday afternoon.

Specifically, the geodynamic institute of the National Observatory in Athens said the quake was recorded at 17.10 local time (15.10 GMT), 11 kilometers southwest of the city, and with a depth estimated at 19 kilometers.

A quake of equal magnitude was reported at 15.58, 26 kilometers from the city of Pyrgos, which is south, southwest of Patras, in a sea region between Ilia prefecture and the Ionian island of Zakynthos.
