Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday opened a two-day conference in the extreme southern city of Kalamata focusing on the National Strategic Reference Framework scheme for the 2021-2027 period.

The conference aims to showcase the EU Commission’s new priorities over the coming years towards boosting economic output, improving infrastructure and skills in the human resources sector.

The new framework for Greece budgeted at 26.5 billion euros, of which 20.9 billion are the EU’s portion.
