Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday reiterated what he called Athens’ standing support for European prospects of the western Balkans, during a meeting with visiting Montenegro President Milo Djukanovic.
The latter’s visit to Athens marked the first time a head of state from the Adriatic country has visited Greece since the former declared independence in 2006.
Efforts to boost all bilateral ties mostly dominated the agenda of talks.
The Greek premier accepted an invitation to visit Montenegro.
On his part, Djukanovic referred to friendly bilateral ties and praised Mitsotakis for his management of several crises.
