Brussels-based Cenergy Holdings SA on Tuesday announced that its Greece-based manufacturer, Corinth Pipeworks, one of the largest industrial concerns in the east Mediterranean country, has won a contract by Poland’s natgas transmission system operator, GAZ-SYSTEM SA, for pipes to construct an 80-kilometer pipeline.

According to reports, Corinth Pipeworks’ bid of roughly 47 million euros was selected in an international tender.

The high-pressure pipeline will connect Gustorzyn to Wronow, aimed to service the Warsaw and Łodz markets, as well as areas in southeast Poland.

The high-spec steel pipes will be manufactured at the company units in Corinth and Thisvis, with deliveries scheduled to begin next April, concluding in August 2022.
