The 2014 film Xenia by Panos Koutras has been selected to be entered into the nomination process for a shot at the Best Foreign Language Film award at the 88th Academy Awards.
Koutras’ film was selected by the relevant Culture Ministry committee at the recommendation of the caretaker Alt. Culture Minister Marina Lampraki-Plaka.
The 88th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 28th of February 2016, at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The final nominations will be announced on the 14th of January.
